Detecting duplicate SKU references

The duplicate list shows products with repeated references. This helps catch mistakes after an import and tell apart items that received the same identifier.

Checking EAN-13, MPN and combination identifiers

The check also covers identifiers such as EAN-13 and MPN as well as combination data. It is useful before connecting the catalog to a wholesaler or another system.

From results to product editing

From the results, you can go to editing the relevant product. The administrator stays in control of the correction instead of items being deleted or merged automatically.

It is a solution for stores importing products from multiple sources and cleaning up identifiers before an integration.

What can you configure in the module panel?

01 / Duplicate search

Duplicate search

Compared field: You choose the identifier the module uses to search for duplicates, e.g. the reference, EAN or MPN. Empty values are not treated as duplicates.
Including combinations: Extends the check to product combinations instead of checking only the main product data.
Active products only: Limits the list to products enabled in the catalog.
Ignoring letter case: Treats e.g. ABC-1 and abc-1 as the same identifier. Leading and trailing spaces are ignored regardless of this option.
