Per-module hook timing

Hook timing shows each module's share in page execution. It helps narrow down the search when diagnosing slowdowns.

Load diagnostics on a live store

Data can be collected on a running store to compare the load of individual functions. The result is a starting point for analysis, not an automatic promise of a speed-up.

Disabling modules on selected page types

Selected modules can be disabled on pages where they are not needed. Verify every change to keep the cart, payment and product presentation working.

Check module dependencies before disabling hooks. The tool does not guarantee a specific PageSpeed score.

What can you set in the module panel?

01 / Performance measurements

Performance measurements

Profiler and admin panel: You enable measurement logging, and an extra switch extends it to the Back Office as well.
Sampling and retention: The sampling percentage sets the share of logged requests. Retention limits how long measurements are stored.

02 / Hook rules

Hook rules

Guard and rules: The guard applies rules based on the module's technical name, an optional hook and a list of controllers. The mode defines how they are applied. A wrong rule may hide a needed page feature.

03 / Optional optimizations

Optional optimizations

Overrides for selected modules: You separately enable the ps_categoryproducts cache, deferred loading of ps_viewedproduct and the appagebuilder thumbnail cache. These interfere with the listed modules and require theme testing.
Cache times: The category block and thumbnail TTLs define how long stored content is reused. A longer time may delay the visibility of changes.

04 / Scripts and images

Scripts and images

Marketing deferral and patterns: You enable deferring scripts that match the entered patterns. The list of skipped controllers disables this mechanism on selected page types.
Fallback and image dimensions: The time fallback runs the scripts after the set time; 0 means waiting for interaction. A separate option fills in image dimensions, reducing layout shifts.
