Set shipping costs for orders that need a separate quote. The module recalculates the order total and sends the amount to the customer by email.

Enter the freight cost in the order currency

The sales agent enters the freight cost directly in the order currency. This makes it easier to handle deliveries that cannot be priced with the carrier’s standard rate table.

Order total recalculation and carrier VAT rate update

Once the amount is entered, the module recalculates the order total and updates the carrier VAT rate. Quote data stays linked to the specific order.

Quote message in the order language

The customer receives a message with the agreed amount in the order language. Before going live, check the message template and how the store handles the extra charge.

What can you configure in the module panel?

01 / Shipping quote rules

Shipping quote rules

Module activation and carriers: A switch enables the feature. The carrier list limits where the quote panel appears; an empty list means all carriers.
Tax rule group and amount entry mode: You choose the tax rules for freight and whether the amount is entered net or gross. These settings must match how the store accounts for shipping.
Order status after sending the quote: A switch decides whether the order state should change, and a separate field sets the target status.

02 / Security and messages

Security and messages

Detecting a paid order: The lock can rely on the status alone, or on the status or a payment record. The right choice depends on when the payment gateway creates the record.
Expert mode: Allows changing the amount after payment or invoicing, but does not correct documents. It should not be enabled without an agreed settlement process.
Email copy, intro text and bank transfer details: The copy address adds an extra recipient of the quote. The intro and payment details complete the message sent to the customer.
